Relationships

The song "I am a rock" (by Paul Simon) is about standing alone, and don't let people get to closse to you and your life. The song " You'll never stand alone" (by Rogers and Hammerstein, written for the musical Carousel) is the opposite. Whatever you do we will support you, and we are by your side. The poem " No man is an island" (byJohn Domne) is about the same thing as the song you'll never stand alone.
I liked "I am a rock" it explains why you shouldn't have friends, and that it's painfull to let someone into your life and then get left behind.
